In anticipation of the 2024 Olympic Games, artists playgrounds painted numerous playgrounds throughout France. But this trend is global and began about ten years ago. Lakwena Basketball Court in Arkansas (United States)

Nestled in the lush green landscape of Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, these two basketball courts have been radically transformed by London-based artist Lakwena and her typographic art.

Skatepark by artist Okuda San Miguel in a church (Spain)

Built in 1912 by architect Manuel del Busto in the town of Llanera, Spain, this church had been abandoned for many years. It was even beginning to collapse until it was taken over by a collective. The collective renovated it and turned it into a public skatepark covered with colorful geometric murals by Okuda San Miguel.

Beach soccer field by artist Benedetto Bufalino in Anglet (France)

Famous for his poetic and offbeat works, artist Benedetto Bufalino has created a major installation on Anglet beach, covering an area of twenty meters by thirty. The usual white lines painted on the ground to mark out the playing field and establish the rules have been replaced by solid walls.

Basketball court in an abandoned town in Sardinia (Italy)

Vincent Bargis's Artistic Sports Field in Paris (France)

It is the multisport field created for TikTok and UEFA, with artist Vincent Bargis. This large-scale project combinesmurals (180 m²), murals (525 m²) and anamorphosis. Artist Vincent Bargis perfectly matches TikTok's identity, both in terms of the colors he works with and the shapes and dynamism of his designs.
