Megève Skatepark by Tim Zdey in Haute-Savoie (France)
Painting a skatepark high in the mountains, with the Alps on the horizon—that’s the challenge taken on by artist Timzdey for the town of Megève. The vibrant colors are inspired by the work of legendary illustrator Jean Giraud, also known as Mœbius, while the shapes were designed to offer a new riding experience. The project was carried out in collaboration with the young people of Meg’Ados, who helped paint the shelter, and was supported by Galerie Daltra. The result: the most colorful skatepark in the Alps.

Skatepark in a Church by Okuda San Miguel (Spain)
Built in 1912 by architect Manuel del Busto in the town of Llanera, Spain, this church had been abandoned for many years. It was even beginning to collapse until it was taken over by a collective. The collective renovated it and turned it into a public skatepark covered with colorful geometric murals by Okuda San Miguel.
