The Villages of the Future program: a lever for rural communities
Villages d'avenir ( Villages of the Future) is a program launched bythe ANCT (National Agency for Territorial Cohesion) aimed at municipalities with fewer than 3,500 inhabitants. Its ambition is to promote local development, support elected officials in the design and implementation of structural projects, and facilitate access to public funding. Tourism, heritage, youth, sports, ecological transition, living environment: Villages d'avenir helps bring to fruition projects that promote the regions.

PALM puts its artistic, social, and territorial vision at the service of small municipalities by offering tailor-made projects, designed in consultation with residents and elected officials.
Our possible interventions:
- Support for mediation and citizen empowerment
- Fresques monumentales sur façades, sols, équipements publics ou clôtures
- Sculptures et installations artistiques pour l’espace public, ancrées dans l’histoire locale ou les paysages
- Parcours d’art dans le village, avec plusieurs points d’intérêt artistiques reliés entre eux
- Terrain de sport peint : création d’aires sportives artistiques (basket, foot, multisport), conçues pour encourager l’activité physique tout en embellissant les espaces de vie
- Mise en valeur du patrimoine local à travers des formes contemporaines
- Participatory artist residencies, bringing together residents, young people, associations, schools, and recreation centers
