Murals: Our Methodology
Our methodology includes several stages, from the creation to the production of murals.
Consulting and Artistic Direction
First, we define the surface to be used and the story we want to tell on it. This initial discussion helps us define potential themes, draft a statement of intent, and create an artistic mood board. This allows us to gauge our client's artistic sensibility and suggest relevant artist profiles.
Design and Sketching
Next, the selected artist(s) will propose one or more graphic concepts, also known as preliminary sketches, while adhering to the established specifications. Revisions are, of course, included to ensure the final creation perfectly matches the client's expectations.
Furthermore, it is entirely possible to entrust us with a sketch that has already been approved internally. In such cases, we will only be responsible for its reproduction.
Paint Selection
Once the sketch is approved, we proceed with the creation of the mural.
Beforehand, we research and recommend suitable paints. This way, we guarantee environmentally friendly, French-made, and durable products.
Mural Creation
For the painting process, we utilize various application techniques. Depending on the desired finish, we use brushes, rollers, stencils, spray cans, and paint guns. Similarly, we deploy various skilled professionals: rope access technicians, aerial platform operators, road painters, hyperrealist painters, and copyists, to ensure the artwork is identical and conforms to the previously approved sketch.
Upon our arrival, we protect the surrounding areas, mark out the design, and then begin painting the mural. We can also recommend a primer and a protective varnish if needed.
Upon completion of the project, we issue a certificate of completion to confirm the work's conformity. Once this certificate is validated, it triggers the final payment for the project and the transfer of copyright for the artwork.
