Discover the Asphalt Art project. A program to redesign streets using art. The result is improved safety and revitalization of public spaces, while involving local communities.
The aim of these interventions is to make these different spaces identifiable and thus encourage users to adopt appropriate behavior. This principle is called active design.
Forty American cities have demonstrated that artistic interventions involving road signage can drastically reduce accident rates:
– 50% of accidents involving pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles
– 37% of accidents with injuries
– 25% of conflicts between drivers and pedestrians
+ 27% of drivers yield to pedestrians
A great way to improve road safety.

Découvrez notre projet inspiré du Asphalt Art Project à Blois
Recently, the city of Blois called on us for a similar experiment. As part of this project, we painted colorful designs on the pavement around three schools.
The goal? To encourage drivers to slow down and reduce accidents and incivility through active design.
In addition, to prevent the risk of slipping, we have applied a non-slip solution.
