A murals as part of the department's participatory budget

As part of the departmental participatory budgetthe students of Evariste Galois secondary school in Sevran wanted to renovate to renovate and transform their school's forecourt.. Faced with an austere environment dominated by parked cars, it was essential to and create a welcoming space for young people..

PALMas technical and artistic advisor, designed a complete project: study of the supports, reworking of the floor, choice of durable paints, and creation of an active design on the floor designed to unify, guide and re-enchant the forecourt, inviting children to walk, run, jump or play.

A murals created with Chloé Bernard

We worked with Chloé Bernarda multi-disciplinary artist born in Nice and now based in Marseille. A professional skateboarder, tattoo artist and muralist, for many years she has been creating works with pop, surrealist and 90's influences, where bright colors and phantasmagorical shapes tell stories and spark the imagination.

In collaboration with the students, Chloé designed a floor pattern combining organic forms, motor skills and symbolic touchesoffering children a playground as artistically immersive as it is visually stimulating. Painting public spaces on the ground creates an identifiable placetransforms the forecourt into a shared living space and reinforces the school's image in the neighborhood.

With this project, PALM demonstrates its expertisenot only transforming invisible surfaces into media for artistic expression, but also supporting the implementation of sustainable sustainable and participatory solutionswhere art finds its place in the service of the community and urban well-being.
