A participatory murals by artist Fabien Mazé

After presenting a dozen artists with a variety of styles, it was painter Fabien Maze (alias Xkuz) who caught the city's attention. Through vivid, colorful graphic compositions that evoke the maritime environment and architectural heritage, the artist symbolizes the singular identity of the city of Dieppe, while leaving room for the viewer's interpretation. In short, this project aims to reveal the soul of Dieppe by offering a reading that oscillates between abstraction and figuration.

Students took part in participatory workshops, discovering his work and becoming actors in the transformation. Under the impetus of its mayor, Nicolas Langlois, the town is continuing a tradition of bringing art into the urban space and offering it to all, where it is least expected.

"Safety School by Art": art that protects and points the way

This project is part of the Sécurité École by Art program, initiated and financed by the Renault Foundation under the impetus of Jean Descours. Deployed in several towns, it aims to make children's journeys safer, reduce risks around schools and transform public space through art.
PALM is working with the Renault Foundation as project manager (artistic direction, application for town permits, setting up the worksite and execution)

In Dieppe, this murals is not just a work of art: it's a gesture of protection and an invitation to see the town differently.
