Safety School by Art: frescoes on the ground for safer school routes
We are pursuing this mission of general interest through the "School Safety by Art" project. The concept is to paint monumental frescoes on the ground in traffic zones to reduce accidents around schools, encourage respect between users and improve the living environment. The project is also part of the "Voyage en Industries" initiative, which promotes the district's industrial and social heritage linked to the history of the Renault Group factories.
Memory and modernity: murals by Helena Pallarés
We invited artist Helena Pallarés to imagine a work that links past, present and future. Deployed around the square, the murals pays homage to Billancourt's workers, shopkeepers and residents, evoking market scenes and historic cafés, while celebrating the eco-district's biodiversity.
It also resonates with figures such as Georges Brassens and Simone Veil, reminding us that this space has always been a place for encounters and shared lives.
A work that transforms public space into a common ground for safety, memory and creation.
