A painted basketball court in the 15th arrondissement of Paris: art for sport with Polar and PALM
Following a call for projects launched by the City of Paristhe artist Polar was selected to design and paint a murals on the Docteur Calmette basketball courtsbasketball courts in the 15th arrondissement.
To accompany the realization of this project, Peint À La Main and Tesa supported the artist through an active active sponsorshipproviding him with professional supplies, our technical expertiseas well as access to preferential contracts with specialized manufacturers. We also shared the resources of our paint research laboratories.
That's what our commitment is all about: supporting artistic creation in the public spaceby enabling artists to work in the best conditions in the best conditions, with professional equipment, on demanding projects. Because art deserves to be everywhere, and done well!
The fully renovated grounds are now freely accessible. It will welcome residents, sports enthusiasts, young people and familiesaround a colorful and dynamic work of art. This large-scale project was carried out in conjunction with the City of Paristhe French Basketball Federationthe FIBA, PARIS BASKET 15and other committed partners.
